The Legislative Committee

The Legislative Committee aims to increase student awareness of legislation related to dentistry and healthcare in general. The committee seeks to create opportunities for students to get involved in advocacy and be the voice of student dentists at UCLA.

Committee Goals

  • Achieve an ADPAC (American Dental Political Action Committee) membership rate of 80% for our school.
  • Publish a quarterly legislative update to the student body.
  • Inform students of any pressing legislative issues in a timely manner and facilitate the creation of action plans to achieve objectives.
